Job Summary

The Texas A&M University System is seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Ticket Account Executive to join our team. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for driving revenue growth through the sale of season tickets, group packages, and premium seating for our athletic events.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Sales Generation: Develop and execute sales strategies to drive ticket sales revenue through proactive outreach, prospecting, and networking.
  • Client Relationship Management: Build and maintain relationships with individual ticket holders, corporate clients, and group leaders to provide personalized service and meet their needs and preferences.
  • Revenue Forecasting and Goal Setting: Collaborate with the ticket sales manager to develop sales strategies and revenue projections, and set ambitious yet attainable sales goals.
  • Sales Presentations and Proposals: Prepare and deliver compelling sales presentations and proposals to prospective clients to highlight the benefits of season ticket ownership, premium seating amenities, and group hospitality options.
  • Customer Service: Provide exceptional customer service throughout the sales process, from initial inquiry to post-sale support, to ensure a positive experience for all ticket holders.
  • Sales Events and Promotions: Assist in the planning and execution of sales events, promotional activities, and fan engagement initiatives to promote ticket sales.
  • Data Management: Maintain accurate records of client interactions, sales activities, and revenue transactions in the CRM system to track sales performance and optimize sales strategies.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in an applicable field or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • No prior experience required.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience working in collegiate athletics, particularly at the Division 1 level.
  • Knowledge of ticketing operations, pricing strategies, and sales techniques.
  • Familiarity with fundraising and donor relations in a collegiate setting.
  • Passion for sports and a deep understanding of the college athletics landscape.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
  • Proven track record of success in sales, with a focus on meeting or exceeding revenue targets.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport and establish trust with clients.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment.
  • Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office applications.
