Key Responsibilities:- Sales Generation: Develop and execute sales strategies to drive ticket sales revenue through proactive outreach, prospecting, and networking.
- Client Relationship Management: Build and maintain relationships with individual ticket holders, corporate clients, and group leaders to provide personalized service and meet their needs and preferences.
- Revenue Forecasting and Goal Setting: Collaborate with the ticket sales manager to develop sales strategies and revenue projections, and set ambitious yet attainable sales goals.
- Sales Presentations and Proposals: Prepare and deliver compelling sales presentations and proposals to prospective clients to highlight the benefits of season ticket ownership, premium seating amenities, and group hospitality options.
- Customer Service: Provide exceptional customer service throughout the sales process, from initial inquiry to post-sale support, to ensure a positive experience for all ticket holders.
- Sales Events and Promotions: Assist in the planning and execution of sales events, promotional activities, and fan engagement initiatives to promote ticket sales.
- Data Management: Maintain accurate records of client interactions, sales activities, and revenue transactions in the CRM system to track sales performance and optimize sales strategies.
- Bachelor's degree in an applicable field or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- No prior experience required.
- Experience working in collegiate athletics, particularly at the Division 1 level.
- Knowledge of ticketing operations, pricing strategies, and sales techniques.
- Familiarity with fundraising and donor relations in a collegiate setting.
- Passion for sports and a deep understanding of the college athletics landscape.
- Proven track record of success in sales, with a focus on meeting or exceeding revenue targets.
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport and establish trust with clients.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment.
- Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office applications.
