About LaBine and Associates: We are seeking a proficient Government Accounting & Compliance Analyst to play a crucial role in ensuring adherence to regulatory standards and internal policies. This position is essential for maintaining compliance with DFARS regulations and overseeing cost accounting for government contracts.

Core Responsibilities:

  • Guarantee compliance with DFARS, FAR, and internal regulations.
  • Oversee cost accounting processes for government contracts, including regulatory assessments and cost submissions.
  • Assist in ensuring compliance with estimating systems, providing training and conducting real-time evaluations.
  • Collaborate with various departments such as Internal Audit, Contracts, and Procurement.
  • Lead or assist in DCMA audits, monitor compliance systems, and formulate corrective measures.
  • Offer expertise in government submissions and pricing for proposals.
  • Conduct training on compliance and support financial initiatives.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, Law, or a related discipline.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in government accounting, contract management, or auditing.
  • Knowledge of DCAA/DCMA regulations, FAR, and CAS.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, with advanced skills in Excel and PeopleSoft preferred.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Capability to maintain a government security clearance.
