About LaBine and Associates: We are seeking a proficient Government Accounting & Compliance Analyst to play a crucial role in ensuring adherence to regulatory standards and internal policies. This position is essential for maintaining compliance with DFARS regulations and overseeing cost accounting for government contracts.
Core Responsibilities:
- Guarantee compliance with DFARS, FAR, and internal regulations.
- Oversee cost accounting processes for government contracts, including regulatory assessments and cost submissions.
- Assist in ensuring compliance with estimating systems, providing training and conducting real-time evaluations.
- Collaborate with various departments such as Internal Audit, Contracts, and Procurement.
- Lead or assist in DCMA audits, monitor compliance systems, and formulate corrective measures.
- Offer expertise in government submissions and pricing for proposals.
- Conduct training on compliance and support financial initiatives.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, Law, or a related discipline.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in government accounting, contract management, or auditing.
- Knowledge of DCAA/DCMA regulations, FAR, and CAS.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, with advanced skills in Excel and PeopleSoft preferred.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Capability to maintain a government security clearance.
