Public Health Nurse II with Spanish Language Expertise

Washington County (OR) is seeking a skilled Public Health Nurse II to join their team. In this role, you will provide essential services to pregnant and parenting mothers, families, infants, and children through home visiting.
Responsibilities:
* Weighing and measuring infants
* Performing developmental screens on infants and children
* Screening hearing and vision on infants and children
* Assessing needs for community resources
* Coordinating care with primary care providers and other providers in the community
* Providing health literacy and parenting education on preventative health care
Requirements:
* A Baccalaureate Degree from an accredited school of nursing;
* OR An Associate's Degree or Diploma in nursing, college-level coursework in the social sciences, and additional nursing training within a public health curriculum including completion of a Public Health Nursing Certificate program (or equivalent); AND Two (2) years increasingly responsible experience in community or public health nursing or related settings;
* Possession of a current license to practice as a registered nurse in the State of Oregon or ability to obtain license within 30 days of appointment;
* Passing Spanish bilingual fluency assessments;
* Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record;
Benefits:
Washington County offers a competitive salary range of $85,000 - $120,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications.
