Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Court Clerk to join our team at the State of Missouri. As a Senior Court Clerk, you will be responsible for providing technical clerical support to a circuit judge or associate circuit judge in a division, serving in the courtroom, and assisting with various administrative tasks.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide clerical support to a circuit judge or associate circuit judge, including preparing documents, orders, and correspondence.
- Assist with case processing, including scanning documents and attaching them to the appropriate docket code.
- Operate an electronic sound recording machine and answer inquiries from attorneys, court personnel, and the public.
- Perform other duties as assigned, including financial record keeping and supervision of other staff.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's or bachelor's degree preferred.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in a court or administrative setting.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
