Job Summary

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Transportation Coordinator/Driver to join our team at Performance Foodservice. As a key member of our logistics team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our delivery process, from check-in to inventory management.

Key Responsibilities
  • Check in delivery drivers and verify the accuracy of the check-in and returns process
  • Reconcile cash and checks, and place them in the safe
  • Examine and verify all returned items to be re-entered into inventory
  • File Department of Transportation (DOT) logs and company vehicle maintenance reports
  • Communicate with inventory personnel over quality-related concerns
  • Communicate with drivers, department managers, and others regarding delivery challenges
Requirements
  • 6+ months in a warehouse environment
  • Administrative support performing basic math and computer data entry skills
