Job Summary

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Logistics Coordinator to join our team at Performance Foodservice. As a key member of our operations team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the accuracy and efficiency of our delivery driver check-in process.

Key Responsibilities
  • Check-in delivery drivers upon their return from routes, verifying the accuracy of their receipts and reconciling cash and checks.
  • Examine and verify all returned items to be re-entered into inventory, ensuring accurate tracking and reporting.
  • File Department of Transportation (DOT) logs and company vehicle maintenance reports, maintaining compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Communicate with inventory personnel regarding quality-related concerns and work collaboratively to resolve issues.
  • Assist in the coordination of vehicle repairs and maintenance, ensuring minimal downtime and optimal fleet performance.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; 6+ months of experience in a warehouse environment preferred.
  • Basic math and computer data entry skills, with the ability to learn and adapt to new systems.
  • Pass a post-offer drug test and criminal background check.
