Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Cost Controller to join our Valagro Manufacturing team in Orangeburg, SC. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for managing financial data, performing accounting tasks, and leveraging your knowledge of industrial control to support our operations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Financial Data Management: Collect, analyze, and interpret financial information related to industrial control activities.
  • Accounting Tasks: Handle day-to-day accounting duties, including accounts payable/receivable, payroll, and financial reporting.
  • Industrial Control Support: Utilize your knowledge of industrial control processes to ensure accurate financial tracking and reporting.
  • Compliance: Ensure compliance with relevant accounting standards and regulations.
  • Process Improvement: Identify opportunities to enhance financial processes and reporting.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field with 5+ years of experience in a similar role.
  • Proven experience in managing financial data, performing accounting tasks, and leveraging industrial control knowledge.
  • Good understanding of industrial control systems and their financial implications.
  • Experience working in cross-functional organizations, navigating dynamic environments.
  • Proven ability to prioritize activities and manage multiple requests from stakeholders.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Proven experience from a plant environment.
  • Proficiency in relevant accounting software and ERP systems, such as SAP B1.
  • Italian or Spanish language knowledge.
