Job Summary:

The Lighting Lead will be a working lead responsible for the safety, quality, and delivery of products coming from the lighting lab. This role will lead a team of individuals to assemble lighting lids, lighting cores, LEDs, soldering, and other related tasks. The Lighting Lead will also be responsible for helping to troubleshoot customer issues onsite.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Actively work as a lead on projects including fixture preparation, installation of LED lighting components, control devices, and electrical wiring.
  • Read and understand blueprints and wiring diagrams.
  • Identify electrical problems using a variety of testing devices.
  • Maintain UL/SGS listings by completing all necessary forms and labeling.
  • Demonstrate problem-solving skills both electrically and personally with the team.
  • Responsible for the safety of themselves and their team.
  • Contribute to creating a safe and injury-free workplace.
  • Produce quality products for the assembly line.
  • Deliver lighting to the assembly floor on time.
  • Load up lighting pictures to My3Form under the CO# for every fixture.
  • Lead the team to deliver quality products on time.
  • Track the quality of products produced.
  • Troubleshoot issues with the assembly floor.
  • Troubleshoot infield issues.
  • Work with the research and development department regularly.
  • Create an inspiring team environment with an open communication culture.
  • Set clear team goals.
  • Delegate tasks and set deadlines.
  • Oversee day-to-day operations.
  • Monitor team performance and report on metrics.
  • Motivate team members.
  • Discover training needs and provide coaching.
  • Listen to team members' feedback and resolve any issues or conflicts.
  • Recognize high performance and reward accomplishments.
  • Encourage creativity and risk-taking.
  • Suggest and organize team-building activities.
