Job Overview

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct thorough evaluations and assessments to determine individualized treatment plans for children.
  • Provide high-quality occupational therapy services to children with a variety of developmental challenges and disabilities.
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure integrated and holistic care for each child.
  • Develop and implement effective treatment interventions to enhance children's fine motor skills, sensory processing, self-care abilities, and overall functional independence.
  • Deliver therapy services in both clinic-based and home-based settings, adapting to the unique needs and environments of each child.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of therapy sessions, progress notes, and treatment plans.

Requirements:

  • Must possess a valid Occupational Therapy license in the state of South Carolina.
  • Strong knowledge and understanding of pediatric occupational therapy principles and practices.
  • Preferred minimum of one year of clinical experience; new graduates with a genuine interest in pediatric therapy are encouraged to apply.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with families, caregivers, and the interdisciplinary team.
  • Ability to work independently, manage a caseload, and prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Flexibility to travel within the greater Greenville, SC area to provide in-home therapy services.
