About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our team. In this role, you will work closely with our healthcare team to deliver exceptional patient care, education, and support to families.

About the Job

This is a full-time position that requires weekend and evening availability to support the hours of operation. A sign-on bonus may be available, and prior pediatric office experience is strongly preferred.

Responsibilities
  • Provide patient-centered care, exercising sound nursing judgment based on preparation, knowledge, and experience in nursing.
  • Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement individualized plans of care.
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and colleagues to ensure seamless care transitions.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient safety and satisfaction.
Requirements
  • Completion of a Practical Nursing Program approved by the State Board of Nursing.
  • Valid LPN licensure in the state where the facility is located or, if applicable, multistate licensure issued by a participating NLC state.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.

The University of Pittsburgh Medical Center offers an attractive salary range of $65,000 - $80,000 per year, depending on experience.
