Job Description

At Synectics Inc, we are seeking a skilled Medical Specimen Collector to join our team. As a key member of our patient services team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the accuracy and efficiency of our laboratory testing processes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collect high-quality blood samples from patients in a safe and efficient manner.
  • Prepare specimens for laboratory testing while adhering to established protocols and procedures.
  • Provide exceptional customer service to patients, responding to their needs and concerns in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Work effectively in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks and managing multiple responsibilities with ease.
  • Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure seamless communication and coordination of patient care.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Medical training or phlebotomy certification preferred.
  • At least 3 years of experience in phlebotomy, including pediatric and geriatric collections.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with patients, colleagues, and healthcare professionals.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision, while also being a team player who contributes to a positive and supportive work environment.
