Job Title: Renovation Specialist

Lakeshore Employment Inc. is seeking a skilled Renovation Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our inventory management team, you will be responsible for completing all construction and renovation on inventory homes in our portfolio of communities.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Use your expertise to renovate mobile homes, apartments, offices, and clubhouses as needed.
  • Apply your knowledge of hand and power tools to demo and construction of homes, apartments, offices, and clubhouses as needed.
  • Follow instructions and scope of work with attention to detail and focus on efficiency and cost savings.
  • Attend regular safety training events and maintain high standards for workplace safety.
  • Coordinate and collaborate with the Renovation Team Lead to determine proper scopes and scheduling of renovations.
  • Inspect all inventory homes within your region for readiness status, identify repairs needed, and create a scope of work with estimated costs.
  • Communicate inspection requests, analyze quotes and scopes for accuracy, and submit for approval.
  • Follow up with vendors or team members for scheduling and completion of work.
  • Identify areas of inventory needs and complete renovation of inventory homes.
  • Physically examine inventory and renovation work of properties on a regular basis.
  • Research building materials and aim to find the best quality and price.
  • Compile weekly inventory reports, tasking, purchase card reconciliations, and other timely reports.
  • Use technology to create, track, and report progress on all work orders, timesheets, and performance.
Requirements:
  • High School diploma or equivalent required; College Degree preferred.
  • Proficient in Excel, MS Office, Internet, and various computer and mobile device applications.
  • Construction experience preferred.
  • Knowledge and experience in rough and finish carpentry, plumbing, electrical, siding, flooring, painting, and home finishing.
  • Energetic and positive with a sharp eye for detail.
  • Must be safety and results-driven.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Flexibility to travel up to 25%, with some weekends required.
  • Valid driver's license and 3 years of clean driving record required.
Compensation and Benefits:

$27.00/Hr (Based on experience) plus $500 signing bonus and quarterly bonus.
