Paraprofessional Assistant

We are seeking a highly motivated and bilingual Paraprofessional to join our team. The successful candidate will assist in the instruction and supervision of individual and groups of students, providing support in academic subjects and helping to maintain a positive and productive learning environment.

• Assist in the instruction and supervision of students, providing support in academic subjects and helping to maintain a positive and productive learning environment.
• Perform a variety of clerical duties, including filing, sorting, duplicating, and maintaining data and records.
• Translate letters and reports from English to Spanish, using appropriate spelling, grammar, punctuation, and vocabulary.
• Treat students, parents, and staff courteously and tactfully, developing and maintaining effective and cooperative working relationships.
• Work confidentially and comply with schedules and meet deadlines.
• Pass required background checks and clearings.

• CODESP certification or 45 higher education units.
• Negative TB test.

The Paraprofessional will work in a fast-paced educational environment, interacting with students, staff, and parents. The position requires the ability to work in a team setting, maintain confidentiality, and adapt to changing circumstances.

The salary for this position is $21.07 per hour, with a yearly health cap of $9,600. The work year follows the Jamestown School District calendar, with a schedule of 7.25 hours per day, Monday through Friday.
