We're seeking a skilled Sales Development Representative to join our team at Varsity Tutors for Schools. The estimated salary for this role is $75,000 - $95,000 per year, based on your experience.

In this role, you will play a critical part in driving new business opportunities and supporting Account Executives in closing deals with K-12 schools and districts. Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Prospecting and Outreach: Identify and pursue new business opportunities with K-12 schools and districts, leveraging your knowledge of the education landscape and your ability to communicate effectively.
  • Lead Qualification: Develop a deep understanding of district goals, challenges, and needs, and use this knowledge to qualify leads and determine their potential for conversion.
  • Collaborative Engagement: Work closely with Account Executives to share insights, best practices, and sales strategies, and to ensure a seamless handoff of qualified leads.
  • Pipeline Management: Maintain accurate records of outreach and prospect interactions in HubSpot, tracking key metrics and setting follow-up reminders to stay on top of leads.
  • Data and Metrics: Analyze data and metrics to inform sales strategies and optimize outreach efforts, ensuring alignment with KPIs and contributing to overall sales pipeline growth.

To excel in this role, you will need:

  • A strong foundation in sales, marketing, or education, with a bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
  • Experience in sales, customer service, or education-related roles, preferably with a track record of success in prospecting and lead generation.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with key decision-makers and stakeholders.
  • Technical proficiency in CRM systems (e.g., HubSpot) and other sales tools, with experience in data analysis and reporting.
