Watchmaker

The Watchmaker is a key member of our team at Hamilton Jewelers, responsible for delivering exceptional client experiences through expert watch repair and maintenance services.

This role requires a strong understanding of watch repair techniques, problem-solving skills, and excellent communication abilities.

Key Responsibilities:

• Examine and repair watch mechanisms, identifying and replacing defective parts as needed.
• Polish, clean, and adjust watches to precise specifications.
• Review and maintain knowledge of Material Safety Data Sheets and adhere to proper chemical handling procedures.
• Provide accurate and timely communication to clients regarding repair status and progress.
• Inspect and evaluate the quality of workmanship and product.
• Update repair status in the Point of Sale system and manage internal client service issues.
• Maintain familiarity with product lines and Hamilton sources.
• Attend regular staff training and in-store vendor training sessions to ensure development.
