About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Physical Therapist to join our team at HCA Florida Healthcare at Home. As a Physical Therapist, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality, patient-centered care to our patients in the comfort of their own homes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Evaluate and treat patients with a range of physical therapy needs, including rehabilitation and functional status assessments.
  • Develop and implement individualized care plans that focus on goal achievement, patient engagement, and positive patient experience.
  • Provide skilled therapeutic care to patients in their homes, using procedures and techniques to produce a change in condition/function consistent with the physician's plan of care.
  • Instruct patients and their caregivers on the use of therapies, exercises, and therapeutic appliances to be used outside of therapy sessions.
  • Prioritize caseload, determine daily staffing needs, and coordinate assignments/handoffs.
Requirements
  • Bachelor of Science in Physical Therapy from an accredited program.
  • Completion of the National Certification Examination for Registered Physical Therapist.
  • License to practice physical therapy within the state.
  • Ability to work varying hours, including weekends and holidays.
  • Must be a licensed driver with an automobile that is insured in accordance with state and/or organization requirements and is in good working order.
