Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Electrical Superintendent to join our team at Kiewit Corporation. As an Electrical Superintendent, you will be responsible for overseeing construction projects, ensuring quality standards are met, and managing budgets.

Key Responsibilities

  • Supervise construction projects and perform daily inspections of work performed
  • Act as liaison and coordinator between contractors and ensure cost control measures are followed
  • Provide job safety training and awareness for all personnel and establish quality standards of all jobs
  • Develop and manage job schedules, coordinate work with contractors, and ensure inspections are scheduled appropriately

Requirements

  • A minimum of five years experience as General Foreman or Superintendent
  • Management of union labor a plus
  • Direct and supervise crews and have a broad understanding of technical electrical systems
  • Experience managing 20-50 craft employees at one time and prepared to attend meetings with customers and owners/general contractors
  • Must have a positive attitude and possess excellent motivational skills and be able to adapt to new surroundings and new people
  • Must be able to access all points of a construction site and work with a team and provide input
  • Working knowledge of computers and experience with the use of Microsoft Excel and Word
  • Willing to travel and relocate on an as-needed basis and able to work in the United States without sponsorship now or in the future
