Senior Electrical Engineer Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Electrical Engineer to join our team at IMEG Corp. in Philadelphia, PA.

Job Summary:

The Senior Electrical Engineer will lead design efforts for moderate to complex projects, providing project direction, engineering solutions, and advice to clients. This role requires strong technical expertise, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead design efforts for electrical systems, utilizing engineering software and tools to create detailed designs, specifications, and calculations.
  • Perform site assessments and generate detailed analysis and technical reports.
  • Interact with clients to understand their needs, gather project requirements, and communicate technical information effectively.
  • Build and maintain client relationships through professional communication.
  • Implement IMEG quality control processes to ensure that engineering designs and solutions meet IMEG quality standards, industry standards, and client requirements.
  • Train, mentor, and motivate staff.
  • Stay up to date with industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in electrical engineering.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor of Science (BS) Degree in Electrical Engineering, or equivalent, required.
  • Professional Engineer (PE) License required.
  • 7 years of experience minimum required, 8 preferred, in the building design consulting industry.
