Job Title: Senior Electrical Engineer

We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Electrical Engineer to join our team at STV Incorporated. As a key member of our Buildings Division, you will be responsible for leading electrical engineering projects and mentoring junior engineers.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead electrical engineering projects from planning to post-design, including proposal development and budget estimates.
  • Develop and implement electrical power distribution systems, including MV and LV systems.
  • Perform power studies, including short circuit, OCPDs coordination, and arc-flash hazard analysis.
  • Prepare engineering documents and equipment specifications to meet contracted scope of work.
  • Provide construction observation, inspection, and field support, including answering RFIs and reviewing equipment submittals.
  • Mentor junior engineers and assist other electrical engineers as needed.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering (BSEE) from an accredited electrical engineering university.
  • 15-20 years of relevant experience as an electrical engineer.
  • Registration as a Professional Engineer (PE) in the State of Pennsylvania and willingness to obtain future PE licensure in other States.
  • Strong knowledge of codes, including NEC, NFPA, IBC, and Life Safety Code.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, leadership, and ability to work well in a team.
