As an Application Engineer at Chef Robotics, you will work closely with our clients to understand their manufacturing operations as thoroughly as possible. This requires a deep technical and operational understanding of both the Chef Robotics Systems and the customers' operations.

Your primary responsibilities include:

  • ">
  • Utilizing models to build a strong ROI case by quantifying the manufacturing process improvements achievable through our robots.">
  • Creating documents and sales presentations that showcase the benefits of our systems to customers.">
  • Leading the deployment of Chef Systems at customer sites through Site Acceptance Tests.">
  • Collaborating with Engineering and Project Management to prioritize and collect customer feature requests and requirements.">
  • Working with Sales and Business Development to help close deals and address customer concerns.">
  • Providing excellent customer support to ensure a positive experience and foster long-term relationships.">

To succeed in this role, you should possess a strong passion for robotics, manufacturing automation, and customer engagement. A bachelor's or master's degree in Computer Science, Robotics, Electrical Engineering, or Mechanical Engineering is preferred.

">


This position involves up to 50% travel across the US and Canada. We welcome candidates with prior experience in product engineering, applications engineering, solutions engineering, sales engineering, or forward deployed engineering.

">


Familiarity with Linux/Unix and Robot Operating System (ROS) is highly beneficial. The ability to recognize, communicate, and document product issues, complaints, and improvements is essential.
