About the Job

As an Application Engineer at Chef Robotics, you will play a crucial role in understanding the manufacturing operations of our customers. You will be responsible for finding ways to solve and improve their operations, requiring a deep technical and operational knowledge of both the Chef Robotics Systems and the customer's operations.

Key Responsibilities

* Find ways to solve and improve manufacturing operations using technical expertise and business acumen
* Develop ROI cases by quantifying manufacturing process improvements that our robots can achieve
* Create documents and sales presentations showcasing the benefits of our solutions to customers
* Lead the in-field deployment of Chef Systems at customer sites through Site Acceptance Tests
* Collaborate with Engineering and Project Management to prioritize and collect customer feature requests and requirements
* Work with Sales and Business Development to help close deals and address customer concerns
* Train other members of the sales team on the technical aspects of our products and services

Requirements

* Passion for robotics, manufacturing automation, and working with customers
* Strong track record of successful engagements with customers from pre-sales engineering through deployment
* Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Robotics, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field
* Experience in a manufacturing environment preferred; ability to learn and understand customer businesses
* Willingness to travel up to 50% to work with customers across the US and Canada
