Key Responsibilities
  • Food Preparation and Service: Prepare and serve food to students and staff in a safe and efficient manner.
  • Cash Handling and Point of Sale Operations: Operate a point of sale system to process transactions and handle cash and credit card payments.
  • Sanitation and Cleaning: Maintain a clean and sanitary kitchen environment, including cleaning and sanitizing equipment and utensils.
  • Inventory Management: Assist with inventory management, including ordering and receiving supplies and equipment.
  • Customer Service: Provide exceptional customer service to students and staff, responding to their needs and concerns in a professional and courteous manner.
Requirements
  • Education: Equivalent to a high school education or GED.
  • Experience: Previous experience in a food service or customer service role is preferred.
  • Certifications: Possess or obtain an Oregon Food Handler's Permit.
Working Conditions

This position requires the ability to work in a fast-paced kitchen environment, with frequent standing, walking, and lifting of up to 50 pounds. The employee must be able to work in a team environment and provide excellent customer service to students and staff.
