Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Operations Manager to lead our Mail Services team at The University of Rochester. As a key member of our Business Services department, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of our Copy, Mail & Print Services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Leadership and Management: Lead and manage a team of supervisory staff to ensure the efficient operation of Mail Services.
  • Operational Oversight: Oversee all postal and printing related activities, ensuring compliance with University policies and procedures.
  • Strategic Planning: Develop and implement strategies to improve service quality, reduce costs, and enhance customer satisfaction.
  • Process Improvement: Identify areas for process improvement and implement changes to increase efficiency and productivity.
  • Communication: Serve as a liaison between Mail Services and other University departments, ensuring effective communication and collaboration.
Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, or related field.
  • Experience: Minimum 5 years of experience in operations management, preferably in a higher education or business services setting.
  • Skills: Strong leadership and management skills, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, ability to analyze data and make informed decisions.
