Job Description:

As a Summer Pharmacy Intern at Walgreens, you will have the opportunity to gain hands-on experience in a retail pharmacy setting. You will work closely with our pharmacy team to provide exceptional customer service, assist with prescription processing, and learn about the latest pharmacy systems and technologies.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide excellent customer service and engage with customers to ensure a positive experience
  • Assist pharmacists and other healthcare providers in delivering patient care and services
  • Process prescriptions and maintain accurate records
  • Learn and apply pharmacy policies, procedures, and best practices
  • Contribute to inventory management and maintenance of the pharmacy department
Requirements:
  • Must be enrolled in a school of Pharmacy program
  • Must be fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English
  • Requires willingness to work flexible schedule, including evening and weekend hours
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Prefer six months of experience in a retail environment
  • Prefer to have prior work experience with Walgreens
  • Prefer good math skills for accurate prescription filling
