We are seeking a highly skilled Cost Analyst to join our client's team. As a Cost Analyst, you will be responsible for overseeing the operational aspects of the cost accounting system, scrutinizing the financial performance of manufacturing activities, and identifying opportunities for cost efficiency.

Key Responsibilities
  • Cost Accounting System Management: Oversee the operational aspects of the cost accounting system, ensuring accuracy and efficiency in financial reporting.
  • Financial Performance Analysis: Scrutinize the financial performance of manufacturing activities, identifying deviations and initiating corrective measures to rectify adverse discrepancies in plant operations.
  • Cost Efficiency Opportunities: Evaluate intricate data and analytics from consolidated and comprehensive sources, identifying opportunities for cost efficiency and implementing measures to reduce costs.
  • Reporting and Analytics: Generate timely and error-free plant reports, adhering to established business and departmental standards for reporting. Ensure these reports are prepared in accordance with both internal and external guidelines and policies.
  • Inventory and Cost Management: Input various inventory and cost-related journal entries during the monthly closing procedures in the United States.
  • Benchmarking: Participate in the formulation of benchmarks for material, labor, and overhead costs.
Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • Experience: Strong cost and manufacturing experience, with a keen eye for detail and excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in financial software and ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle), advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other MS Office applications.
