- Generate monthly financial statements in accordance with dealership standards and manufacturer requirements
- Manage and review all posted documents, including time records, vehicle transactions, commissions, and inventory adjustments
- Prepare and monitor daily bank deposits and maintain cash flow reports
- Implement an effective cash management system and forecast cash requirements
- Provide daily operational control reports and keep management informed of trends
- Reconcile select accounts monthly and supervise assigned reconciliations
- Authorize adjustments to inventory and receivable accounts
- Ensure accuracy and timeliness of all manufacturer accounts, including warranty claims and advertising funds
- Archive monthly journals, schedules, and general ledgers as necessary, and close accounting periods
- Assist with annual reviews and audits
- Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations
- Oversee payroll processing and maintain payroll records
- Prepare tax documentation and ensure timely submissions
- Generate detailed reports on sales commissions and chargebacks
- Manage vehicle floor plan payoffs and liaise with banking representatives
- Handle onboarding paperwork for new hires and terminations in the absence of HR leadership
- Maintain confidential employee records in collaboration with HR
- Perform additional tasks as assigned
- Demonstrated managerial experience is essential
- Automotive industry experience is preferred
- Strong accounting expertise and skills
- Collaborative team player with a commitment to improvement

- Positive, dedicated attitude
- Proficient computer skills
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
