Key Responsibilities
  • Maintaining a Safe and Secure Environment:
    • Understand and practice safe behaviors in everything you do.
    • Provide a visible presence at store entrances and exits, monitoring for potential safety issues.
    • Remove clutter and ensure safe, clear egress to emergency exits.
  • Developing Great Teams and Partnerships:
    • Provide excellent customer service by greeting customers, answering questions, and resolving issues in a friendly and courteous manner.
    • Treat all customers and associates with respect and professionalism.
    • Develop and maintain relationships with internal and external partners.
  • Mitigating Theft and Fraud:
    • Monitor store entrances and exits for potential theft and gather intelligence to impact shortage trends.
    • Communicate effectively with store leadership and loss prevention leadership.
    • Adhere to company policy for external theft response.
  • Minimizing Operational Shortage:
    • Train and educate associates on shortage reduction initiatives.
    • Observe and validate proper checkout procedures for customers and associates.
Requirements
  • Education: High school education or equivalent required, AA degree preferred.
  • Experience: One year retail supervisor experience or similar training preferred.
  • Skills: Excellent communication skills, ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, strong commitment to customer service.
Working Conditions
  • Consistent timeliness and regular attendance.
  • Ability to spend up to 100% of working time standing, walking, and moving around the store.
  • Must be able to raise or lower objects more than 25 lbs., from one level to another.
