Job Summary

We are seeking an enthusiastic engineering student to join our team as a Co-op Embedded Systems Engineer. As a member of our engineering design team, you will work with a mentor to design and implement embedded systems for our ignition and flame detection product lines.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist in the design and implementation of embedded systems, including selection and implementation of embedded target devices and support circuit componentry.
  • Develop and implement embedded software, select and interface peripherals, and implement standard protocols.
  • Design and implement product test equipment, and work with a diverse group of engineers in all phases of product development and production support.
  • Prepare typical electronics documentation, including code flowcharts, instructions, and code commenting.
Requirements
  • Enrolled in an accredited degree program in Electronics/Electrical/Computer Engineering or a related discipline.
  • Sophomore year or greater completed.
  • Ambitious, self-starting, and motivated attitude, with a willingness to learn and ability to manage time.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Programming experience in C and Python.
  • Experience choosing embedded platforms to meet specific requirements.
  • Good written and verbal communication skills.
