Primary Care Physician

We are seeking a highly skilled Primary Care Physician to join our team at TAL Healthcare. As a Family Medicine or Internal Medicine Physician, you will provide high-quality patient care and a full scope of primary care services to patients.
Your responsibilities will include reviewing patient history, performing physical examinations, evaluating, diagnosing, and providing appropriate treatment and patient care. You will also provide quality clinical diagnostic skills in the delivery of patient care, review all test results, and recommend suitable management for the patient.
In addition, you will prescribe medications, formulate ongoing treatment and disease management plans, and provide relationship-centered care, taking into account the patient's psychosocial and physical needs. You will collect and record patient information and maintain complete and accurate medical records, and communicate effectively with the clinical team to ensure total delivery of quality care.
Requirements for this position include a Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathy (DO) degree, residency program in Internal Medicine and/or Family Medicine, and board eligibility/certification in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine. You must be licensed to practice medicine in New York State and have active Drug Enforcement Agency (DEA) registration or be eligible for registration. Additionally, you should have active Medicare/Medicaid enrollment or be eligible to enroll, and Basic Life Support (BLS) or Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification is preferred.
