As a Registered Nurse at Memorial Health, you will provide high-quality care to patients on our 2E Medical Unit. This unit serves an adult and elderly population with a variety of diagnoses, including respiratory illnesses and infections. Your responsibilities will include administering IV antibiotics, monitoring lab results, managing wounds, and providing tube feeding and drain care. You will also be responsible for off-site cardiac monitoring and central line management.

Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need to have a strong foundation in nursing principles and practices. You will need to be licensed as a Registered Nurse in the State of Illinois and have current BLS/CPR certification. You will also need to be able to position and transfer patients safely, and to withstand prolonged periods of standing. You will need to be able to perform difficult manipulative skills such as IV insertion and IM injections. You will also need to be able to work in a fast-paced environment and to prioritize tasks effectively.
