Key Responsibilities
  • Plan and implement program activities that align with the organization's goals and objectives.
  • Develop and maintain positive relationships with youth participants, parents, and school staff.
  • Recruit and maintain program participants from the school community.
  • Ensure a safe and supportive environment for all participants.
  • Participate in staff development training and professional growth opportunities.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned.
Requirements
  • Knowledge and experience working in expanded learning programs or youth recreational facilities.
  • Minimum High School Diploma or GED (AA Degree in Child Development or a related field preferred).
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work well with young children and/or youth.
  • Computer literacy and willingness to learn.
  • Valid LIVE Scan, TB Clearance, and CPR Certification.
Work Environment

The Club Leader will work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment, interacting with youth participants, parents, and school staff on a regular basis.

Physical Demands

The physical demands of this role include standing, using hands to finger, handle, or feel, and frequently talking, hearing, and reaching with hands and arms.
