We are a reputable General Contractor specializing in Commercial Construction, currently seeking a Senior Project Manager with a strong background in Retail and Grocery Store Developments. Key Responsibilities:

Oversee the daily operations of commercial construction projects, ensuring the effective management of company resources and subcontractors to complete projects within budget and specifications. Uphold the highest standards of safety, quality, and productivity on-site. Act as the primary company representative and liaison with clients, subcontractors, and suppliers.

Essential Duties:
  • Develop and maintain project schedules
  • Monitor and control project expenditures
  • Coordinate procurement of necessary tools and materials
  • Facilitate effective communication with all stakeholders (project managers, subcontractors, suppliers, clients, architects, engineers, and crew)
  • Supervise all job site personnel, equipment, materials, and suppliers
  • Conduct regular inspections to ensure safety, quality, and productivity standards are met

Documentation Responsibilities:
  • Maintain accurate records of project schedules and progress
  • Document work orders, meeting notes, purchase orders, RFIs, and safety conditions
  • Track payroll and performance of team members
  • Report on safety conditions and incidents

Continuous Improvement:
  • Identify and rectify errors in processes
  • Demonstrate a commitment to acquiring new skills and improving procedures

Qualifications:
Education: High school diploma or GED required.

Experience: 5-10 years in a superintendent role focused on retail and grocery store projects.

Skills:
  • Proven leadership and delegation abilities
  • In-depth knowledge of construction processes and methodologies
  • Proficient in construction management software and tools
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints
  • Basic understanding of various construction trades and subcontractor scopes
  • Familiarity with accounting principles
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Excellent customer service and initiative
  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record

Physical Requirements:

Moderate physical activity is required, including standing, walking, reaching, and lifting up to 50 lbs occasionally.

All candidates must pass a background check and drug screening.
