  • Supervise and Execute School Activities: Supervise and execute school activities inside and outside the classroom.
  • Assist in Maintaining a Safe and Effective Classroom Environment: Support teachers in maintaining a safe and effective classroom environment.
  • Implement Data-Based Decision Making: Use data to inform instruction and make data-based decisions.
  • Use Formal Academic and Behavior Data to Assist with Interventions: Analyze data to identify areas of strength and weakness and inform instructional strategies.
Physical and Sensory Requirements
  • Non-Violent Crisis Intervention Techniques: Possess the ability to perform non-violent crisis intervention techniques, including verbal and physical redirection and guidance of potentially physically aggressive students during crisis situations.
  • Quick Reaction and Mobility: Possess the ability to react quickly and be sufficiently mobile to redirect students that could be injurious to themselves or others.
  • Physical Assistance: Be able to physically assist with evacuating students during emergency situations.
  • Crisis Management Certification: Earn and maintain full certification(s) in assigned crisis management programs.
