Atrium Health Charlotte is seeking a highly skilled Radiology Technologist to join their team in Shelby, North Carolina.

About the Role

This position involves performing basic radiologic exams and venipuncture procedures while adhering to radiation safety practices. The ideal candidate will utilize their expertise to provide high-quality examinations and maintain accurate patient records.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform radiologic exams as ordered by physicians
  • Utilize standard operating procedures for routine exams
  • Verify requisitions for physician notes and special instructions
  • Consult with radiologists or physicians as necessary
  • Select technical factors based on individual patient needs
  • Operate equipment according to exam requirements
  • Maintain accurate patient records
  • Obtain specimens and perform diagnostic laboratory tests as ordered by physicians
Requirements and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, candidates must possess a High School Diploma or equivalent, completion of an AMA-approved Radiologic Technology Program, current registry with ARRT or ability to obtain within 6 months, and 1 year of experience preferred. BLS certification is also required.

Compensation and Benefits
