Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and oversee policies, procedures, and objectives for Homebuyer Education, Housing Counseling, and various assistance programs tailored for special needs populations.
  • Implement the current strategic framework while spearheading the development of an updated strategic vision.
  • Administer deed restrictions and specific programs that promote affordable homeownership.
  • Manage CHAC staff to ensure exceptional service delivery to clients.
  • Supervise personnel in accordance with organizational policies and legal requirements during all phases of employment.
  • Prepare and manage the annual budget, ensuring alignment with Board approvals.
  • Identify and cultivate new funding opportunities while maintaining relationships with existing funders.
  • Ensure adherence to funding source regulations across all programs.
  • Achieve and maintain organizational status as a Community Development Financial Institution (CDFI) and manage all related reporting.
  • Foster collaborative relationships with community partners, including government entities, funders, and local businesses.
  • Engage with the Board of Directors on financial, programmatic, and operational matters.
  • Ensure the proper maintenance and functionality of CHAC facilities and grounds.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
  • At least 5 years of experience in mortgage lending, nonprofit management, or affordable housing initiatives.
  • Possession of a National and State of Colorado Mortgage Loan Originator License or the ability to obtain one within the first six months of employment.
  • Demonstrated success in grant writing and securing funding.
  • A strong commitment to the mission of CHAC.

Compensation:

Salary range is between $90,000 and $110,000 annually.
