Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough neuropsychological evaluations and provide feedback to patients and their families on test results and treatment plans.
  • Collaborate with the treatment team to develop and implement customized treatment plans that address the unique needs of each patient.
  • Educate treatment team members on brain-related behaviors and the implications of neuropsychological deficits on daily functioning.
  • Provide treatment progress and status documentation in accordance with the Plan of Treatment.
  • Participate in team meetings, provide input on treatment strategies, and attend case conferences and family educational meetings.
  • Design community reintegration activities for patients and help them understand their needs and limitations.
  • Report progress and changes in condition to the clinical staff and patients' family members.
  • Collect and document items necessary for program evaluation and improvement.
  • Attend staff development programs and continuing education to maintain and enhance clinical practice skills.

Qualifications
  • Ph.D. in Neuropsychology or an accredited training program in Neuropsychology.
  • Current and valid professional license and/or certification as required by state of practice.
  • Two years of post-doctoral training in clinical Neuropsychology.
  • Minimum of three years of clinical experience in the assessment and management of traumatic brain injury or related neurological conditions.
  • Knowledge of complex neurologic injury and orthopedic rehabilitation techniques.
