We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Acquisitions Analyst to join our team at GID Investment Advisers LLC. As an Acquisitions Analyst, you will play a critical role in supporting the Executive Vice President of Real Estate Acquisitions and the Vice Presidents in the preparation of detailed economic analyses of potential multifamily acquisitions.
Key Responsibilities- Underwriting and Analysis: Utilize a Microsoft Excel-based model to underwrite potential acquisition targets, with Argus Enterprise experience being a plus. Conduct thorough analysis of financial statements, rent rolls, and tax statements to identify market trends and support underwriting assumptions.
- Market Research and Due Diligence: Research and analyze demographic, economic, and real estate market data to identify opportunities for multifamily residential properties. Conduct due diligence activities, including lease analysis, competitor market research, and arranging third-party reports such as market studies and property tax analysis.
- Contract Negotiations and Presentations: Assist Vice Presidents in contract negotiations with internal and third-party attorneys, and prepare materials for presentations to GID's Investment Committee.
- Training and Development: Take a lead role in training analysts on GID's proprietary acquisition models, standard underwriting practices, and preparing Investment Committee presentations.
- Relationship Building and Communication: Maintain contact and relationships with potential deal sources, including brokers, owners, and developers, and prepare reports for GID's ownership and major institutional investment partners.
- A four-year college or university degree is required, with two to four years of related work experience and/or training desired.
- Drug testing and background checks are an employment requirement.
