Job Title: DFAM Engineer IV

Austal USA Advanced Technologies is seeking a highly skilled DFAM Engineer IV to join our team. As a key member of our design team, you will play a critical role in the development of innovative additive manufacturing solutions.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide expertise in Design for Additive Manufacturing (DfAM) to ensure optimal part design and manufacturing processes.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and implement additive manufacturing opportunities.
  • Design and develop products for additive manufacturing, focusing on performance, quality, reliability, cost, and ease of manufacturing.
  • Partner with manufacturing teams to ensure seamless integration of additive manufacturing processes.
  • Provide mentorship and training to junior engineers to develop their skills and expertise.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree or higher in an Engineering field.
  • 8+ years of experience in engineering and design, with a strong background in DfAM.
  • Proficiency in 3D CAD software and simulation tools.
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
