Position: Student Respiratory Therapist

We are in search of a Student Respiratory Therapist to become a vital part of our Respiratory Care teams. In this role, you will collaborate closely with healthcare professionals, patients, and their families to promote and sustain optimal pulmonary health.

  • Providing healthcare services to Dayton and its neighboring communities for over 90 years.
  • Specializing in a variety of fields, including orthopedics, cardiovascular care, surgical services, and trauma management.
  • Recently upgraded Emergency Department and expanded heart & vascular services, along with new catheterization and electrophysiology labs.
  • Collaboration with local markets for weekly fresh produce distribution within the healthcare facility.
  • One of the largest osteopathic teaching hospitals nationwide, featuring a 371-bed capacity.
  • Awarded multiple honors, including recognition as a Top 100 Hospital and the Patient Safety Excellence Award from Healthgrades.
Key Responsibilities & Qualifications
  • Conduct daily respiratory interventions for non-critical patients across all age demographics, in accordance with your competency level.
  • Currently enrolled in an accredited Respiratory Care program.
  • Eligible for a limited permit issued by the state of Ohio.
  • Possess current certification in Basic Life Support (BLS).
