Embedded Sales Representative Opportunity

Ace Embedded is a leading manufacturer's sales representative organization specializing in high-performance, real-time embedded technologies. Our products solve critical design issues in today's challenging system requirements, and our success is directly related to our ability to understand customer applications and solve complex multiprocessing and I/O problems.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain detailed knowledge of products, services, and processes.
  • Manage and develop current customer relationships, including existing programs and new business.
  • Identify and develop new customer relationships within the region.
  • Work with partners to identify and develop new business opportunities.
  • Create and implement a strategic territory sales plan.
  • Develop, manage, and report on the sales pipeline within the territory.
  • Provide accurate monthly booking forecasts.
  • Build and maintain a multi-year forecast.
  • Create and deliver presentations on all technology-based products represented by Ace Embedded.
  • Travel within the assigned territory as necessary.
Requirements
  • The candidate must be able to understand customer technical requirements.
  • Previous experience and background in embedded hardware, engineering, and/or technical sales.
  • History of extensive and consistent ability to develop, manage, and close a pipeline.
  • Proven track record of developing strategies to capture business in the military/government market.
  • Strong skills in developing new relationships with customers and recommending and positioning technical solutions to solve customer system requirements and business challenges.
  • Critical skills necessary are account planning with an extended team, calling at all levels within the customer's organization, and managing partner relationships.
  • Outstanding communication and organizational skills required.
  • The candidate must have the marketing and sales skills necessary to be a strong contributor to the team's performance in achieving annual revenue goals.
  • Resourceful and rapid learning abilities to achieve breadth to perform duties on their own.
  • BS degree with a minimum of 3 years of success in a technical sales position preferred.
Location and Compensation

Candidate must be located in Maryland, DC, or Virginia. This is a work-from-home position that involves local travel within the Greater DC area to visit customers on-site. Compensation includes base pay + commission, with total compensation potential $100,000-$150,000.
