Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated part-time Parking Attendant Specialist to join our team at Prospect Place Parking. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the safe and efficient operation of our parking facility.

Responsibilities
  • Vehicle Access Control: Verify that all vehicles meet the height requirements to safely enter and exit the garage.
  • Cash Handling: Assist customers with credit card transactions using our point-of-sale terminal or Square payment system.
  • Terminal Maintenance: Troubleshoot any issues with the point-of-sale terminal and replenish paper supplies as needed.
  • Guest Services: Familiarize yourself with the surrounding area to provide general information to our guests.
  • Traffic Management: Display the 'Temporarily Full' sign when necessary and maintain cleanliness of the garage at all times.
  • Concern Reporting: Report any concerns to the Property Manager.
  • Access Control: Position or remove barricades to prevent parking in certain spots.
  • Customer Support: Assist customers in locating their vehicles and resolve any parking disputes that may arise.
Qualifications
  • A high school diploma or GED equivalent is required.
  • One year of related experience is preferred.
  • The ability to read and comprehend verbal instructions and written correspondence is essential.
  • Furthermore, you must be able to communicate effectively both verbally and through written correspondence.
  • Providing customer resolution in a professional and friendly manner is crucial for this role.
  • Maintaining a professional demeanor when working with colleagues and customers is also vital.
Estimated Salary Range:

$35,000 - $45,000 per year, depending on experience.
