Job Title: Structural Design Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled Structural Design Engineer to join our team in the Structural Services Division.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with licensed engineers to prepare engineering designs or evaluations for various projects.
  • Perform structural evaluation of existing buildings and components, and prepare engineering reports.
  • Utilize software to perform structural design and/or analysis of footings, foundations, beams, columns, floor assemblies, and lateral bracing in various materials.
  • Prepare bid specifications and contract documents for new construction and repair projects.
  • Perform progress inspections of construction projects and prepare construction observation reports.
  • Perform inspections of structural damage and prepare detailed engineering analysis reports.
  • Manage all aspects of project management, including communication with project inspectors, technicians, and clients.
Requirements:
  • Advanced decision-making and problem-solving skills, with the ability to use sound engineering judgment.
  • Excellent organizational and time management abilities.
  • Demonstrated project leadership and teamwork capabilities.
  • Strong interpersonal and written communication skills.
  • Proficiency with computer systems, including AutoCAD and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Knowledge of BIM Technologies (REVIT).
Education and Experience:
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering related to construction (Civil, Architectural, Construction) with a concentration in structural engineering.
  • 4-5 years of experience in structural design and analysis for buildings.
  • Experience in a construction or engineering office.
  • Professional Licensure preferred.
