The Floor Supervisor plays a critical role in assisting and supporting the Store and Assistant Manager in all aspects of the store, including personnel, product, merchandising, and visual functions, business processes, and results. Key Responsibilities- Direct and Motivate the Store Team: Direct and motivate the store team to provide exceptional customer service, generate sales, and minimize losses while ensuring the store is visually distinctive and impeccably maintained.
- Maximize Associate Productivity: Maximize associate productivity, ensure compliance with company standards, and create an environment that drives results.
- Assist with Training and Development: Assist in the development of associates through feedback, coaching, and training.
- Effective Communication: Demonstrate effective written and verbal communication skills.
- Operational Excellence: Develop proficiency in all operational policies and procedures.
- Time Management: Manage time and prioritize tasks effectively.
- Maximize Sales: Maximize sales by ensuring the TH Customer Service program is executed to standard and merchandise styles and sizes are well represented on the sales floor.
- Training and Development: Assist with training, developing, and executing S.G.M. and TH Customer Service.
- Statistical Analysis: Communicate statistical results and identify business needs.
- Team Communication: Communicate with the team at Take 5 meetings regarding individual sales performance and other key performance indicators.
- Direct Replenishment and Recovery: Assist with training, monitoring, and executing Direct Replenishment and Recovery process.
- Problem-Solving: Recognize problems, analyze causes, and generate alternatives and solutions.
- Brand Representation: Represent the TH image through personal and professional appearance.
- Compliance and Safety: Understand and comply with all company policy, procedures, and operations, including receiving and processing shipments and transfers.
- Inventory Management: Follow Inventory Shrinkage Improvement Program and assist to ensure the store has all necessary tools and knowledge of how to use them.
- Security and Safety: Maintain the highest level of security and safety awareness within the store.
- Store Operations: Assist with store opening and closing, and able to lift a minimum of 40 pounds and stand for long periods of time.
- Talent Sourcing: Work with store management to source the best talent through networking and recruitment, interviewing, hiring, and orientation process.
- Associate Development: Assist in the development of all associates to be knowledgeable in areas of product and sales.
- Team Engagement: Create energy, excitement, and recognition around team and individual accomplishment and successes.
- Meetings and Communication: Participate and assist the Store Manager in weekly management meetings and quarterly staff meetings.
- Adaptability: Change schedules, adapt to the needs of the position, undertaking night shifts, weekends, and holidays.
- Teamwork: Demonstrate teamwork and lead by example within the store.
- Business Decision-Making: Assist in making business decisions based on current sell-through strategies.
- Store Presentation: Maintain elevated store presentation by training and overseeing standards as defined by brand standards and company directives.
- Merchandise and Visual Issues: Keep management informed of all merchandise and visual related issues.
- Markdowns and Re-Merchandising: Execute markdowns and re-merchandise, as needed.
- Store Organization: Maintain store organization, fixtures, hardware, and general cleanliness.
