Job Title: Senior Principal Systems Engineer

As a key member of our Command and Control, Battle Management, and Communications (C2BMC) program, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining the physical, functional, and technical requirements baselines necessary to describe the desired capabilities of an evolving MDS Command & Control, Battle Management, and Communications (C2BMC) system.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and maintain system-level use cases and associated Epics and Feature relationships to a diverse group of customers, developers, engineers, subject matter experts, and users.
  • Solve complex problems that require the regular use of ingenuity and creativity.
  • Work is performed without appreciable direction and is reviewed for desired results from a relatively long-term perspective.
  • May function in project leadership roles and represent the organization as prime customer contact on significant technical matters on contracts.
Requirements:
  • An active Secret clearance is required to start with the ability to obtain TS/SCI clearance.
  • 9 years with a Bachelor's degree with a STEM concentration or in a related field; 7 years experience with a master's degree in STEM concentration or related field.
  • Must also be flexible and can support various tasks on short notice.
  • Must possess the ability to be part of an integrated team tasked with developing and maintaining the physical, functional, and technical requirements baselines necessary to describe the desired capabilities of an evolving MDS Command & Control, Battle Management, and Communications (C2BMC) system.
  • Must have demonstrated experience in mission analysis with skill in developing use cases, sequence diagrams, and SysML modeling in support of MBSE.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Active TS/SCI clearance is highly desired.
  • Possessing a DoD 8140 certification at IAT Level II or higher (Security+, GSEC, SCNP, SSCP, CISSP, CISA, GSE, SCNA) is highly desired.
  • Experience with other Space Domain and Missile Defense Systems is highly desired.
  • Experience with Agile Methods and Epic and Feature definition is a significant plus.
  • Skills in logical architecture modeling, interface definition, and knowledge of cyber security concepts and security accreditation are highly desirable.
