Physician Required for Trauma Orthopedic Surgeon Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Orthopedic Surgeon to join our team as a Locum Consultant. The successful candidate will have extensive experience in managing trauma cases, particularly hip fractures, patella fractures, quadriceps tendon ruptures, tibial shaft fractures, ankle fractures, Achilles tendon ruptures, dislocations, rami and sacrum fractures, clavicle fractures, simple olecranon fractures, bicep tendon rupture, forearm fractures, distal radius fractures, finger and hand fractures, and dislocations.
Salary and Benefits

Job Description
This is a part-time role, requiring the successful candidate to work Monday to Friday, 8am to 5pm, in our clinic, operating room, and hospital. Some weekend and after-hours call may be required. The schedule will vary, with some days spent working in the clinic and others in the hospital or operating room.
Requirements
To be considered for this role, you must have recent (within the last 6 months) experience using EPIC in an inpatient and outpatient setting. You must also have experience attending to ortho trauma patients and be willing to provide routine ortho surgical services. Comfortable addressing ortho trauma cases, critical access - level 4 trauma, is essential.
Work Schedule
This role requires an 8-hour day, split between OR, clinic, and hospital time. Some days may involve more time in the hospital, while others may be spent working in the clinic or operating room.

Certifications and Qualifications
A valid medical license and BC certification are required for this role. Recent experience using EPIC, attending to ortho trauma patients, and providing routine ortho surgical services is also essential.
