Key Responsibilities:
- Receive, inspect, and log incoming samples for analysis.
- Transport test samples to designated areas.
- Monitor supply levels for testing processes and communicate needs to management.
- Conduct testing of samples and quality control specimens following established methodologies, documenting results accurately.
- Prepare samples and reagents, ensuring all equipment is calibrated and ready for use.
- Record and verify results, maintaining accurate logs and documentation.
- Keep the laboratory environment organized, safe, and compliant with all safety policies.
- Assist in training new team members as needed.
- Adhere to all company policies and safety practices.
- Perform additional duties as required.
Qualifications:
- Ability to work in a dynamic, fast-paced environment with shifting priorities.
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational and time management skills.
- Effective communication skills in both verbal and written formats.
- Technical and administrative skills relevant to laboratory operations.
- Customer-focused with a commitment to quality.
- Valid Driver's License required.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience.
- Two years of experience in a laboratory setting.
- Familiarity with handling chemical and petroleum products.
- Proficiency in using online applications.
- Willingness to work overtime and flexible shifts as necessary.
