Principal Electrical Engineer

Job Summary:
We are seeking a Principal Electrical Engineer to support the Westinghouse Parts Business in our New Stanton facility. The successful candidate will be responsible for design, manufacture, testing, and delivery of high-quality electrical products.
Key Responsibilities:
- Preparation and review of drawings, specifications, and purchase requisitions for various Electrical Products Development
- Determination of critical equipment characteristics to support equipment qualification and commercial grade dedication
- Assist in the development of equipment qualification test procedures, support during testing, evaluate test results and review final reports
- Preparation of Commercial Dedication Instructions
- Development of Engineered solutions to address obsolescence issues for various electrical products
- Provide engineering support to customers, suppliers, manufacturing, and shop operations for a variety of products
Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering
- Minimum of 10 years engineering experience
- Proven knowledge and experience with electrical distribution systems and equipment, preferably with Low/Medium voltage switchgear, circuit breakers, motors, motor-generator sets, and motor control centers
- Previous experience in the nuclear industry, specifically in nuclear power plant safety / non-safety systems, is desired
