The Ideal Candidate:
We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced educator who can effectively support students with visual impairments. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to work collaboratively with teachers, parents, and other professionals. In addition, the successful candidate will have:
- A valid Indiana Teaching License with a specialization in Blind and Low Vision
- Knowledge of assistive technology, O&M, and other devices to support students with visual impairments
- Experience working with students with visual loss and/or blindness
- Strong organizational and time management skills
