Job Description:

As a Pharmacy Manager at Walgreens, you will play a critical role in delivering exceptional patient care and driving business growth. This leadership position requires a strong clinical background, excellent communication skills, and the ability to motivate and develop a high-performing team.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide clinical guidance and support to pharmacy staff, ensuring accurate and timely dispensing of medications.
  • Develop and implement strategies to improve patient satisfaction, engagement, and loyalty.
  • Manage pharmacy operations, including inventory management, workflow optimization, and staff scheduling.
  • Collaborate with store managers and district leaders to drive business growth, improve profitability, and enhance the patient experience.
  • Stay up-to-date with regulatory requirements, industry trends, and best practices in pharmacy management.
Requirements:
  • BS in Pharmacy or PharmD degree from an accredited institution.
  • Current pharmacist licensure in the states within the district.
  • Certified Immunizer or willing to become an immunizer within 90 days of hire.
  • At least 1 year of pharmacy experience, including prescription filling, recordkeeping, legal compliance, pharmacy operations, and insurance billing.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Supervisory experience in pharmacy management.
  • At least 6 months of pharmacy experience with Walgreen Co.
