Job Summary

PacifiCorp is seeking a skilled Electrical Lineworker to join our team. As a key member of our Power Delivery department, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems and equipment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Install, maintain, and repair transmission and distribution electrical systems and associated equipment
  • Operate line trucks, aerial boom, lifts, and wire pulling equipment
  • Perform pole climbing, hot sticking, and working out of truck-mounted bucket lifts
  • Operate switches, cutouts, and use grounding devices to work on de-energized lines and equipment
  • Train and direct the work of a trainee in the trade
Requirements
  • A high school diploma, GED, or equivalent
  • Journeyman Lineman certification, including completion of a formal training program
  • Must meet examining board review of skills and experience and pass testing through Rocky Mountain Power
  • Hot stick training and experience
  • Class A Commercial Driver's License
Preferred Qualifications
  • 2+ years of experience as a Journeyman Lineman
Physical Demands

The job duties of this position require lifting in excess of 75 lbs, carrying in excess of 75 lbs, and pushing and pulling in excess of 100 lbs of exertional force. The position also requires sustained, awkward positions/postures, including bending and twisting at the waist and neck, and forceful grip and pinch.
